Before you read ahead, check out the engagement shoot video we produced!
Last Sunday we went out at around 11am with Ceri and Richard for their engagement shoot. We hopped in the car, drove less than ten minutes to the location (Blaen-y-Bran) and met with Ceri and Richard for the first time. It's always a super nerve racking experience meeting a couple for the first time, especially when it's for an actual shoot. These guys, however, made the experience a dream. Instant smiles and connections all around. We walked up from the car park, taking around 5 minutes to enjoy the sites and fresh air, and we were at our location.
We've been to Blaen-y-Bran before for a woodsy themed photo shoot and it's also where we experimented with flares for the first time, so we know how beautiful it can be. This time though, we were blown away! The Autumnal colours were absolutely gorgeous.
Ceri and Richard fell straight in to a lovely groove. Super natural and laughter from everyone, including us behind the cameras! It makes me realise how much I love my job and how lucky I am to actually be making a living from something I'm passionate about.
This shoot also got super fun and interesting as it was invaded by dogs on numerous occasions. This was only to the delight of Richard, the groom-to-be, as he has a strong love for dogs!
Overall we couldn't have asked for a better engagement shoot. Autumnal colours, perfect weather and temperature and a perfect couple. We can't wait to shoot both the photography and videography at Ceri and Richard's Pencoed House Wedding in December. I'll leave you with a few of my favourite images from the shoot below!
